Metal-Mechanics Project Workshop
In this workshop, any piece of metal can be made in equipment such as: conventional lathe, conventional milling machine, grinding machine and CNC machining center, all the pieces that are worked in this workshop are previously designed in a design software and adapted to the characteristics of the metallic material being worked on.
Mechanical Casting Workshop
Metals are cast into shapes by melting them into a liquid, pouring the metal into a mold, and removing the mold material after the metal has solidified as it cools.
The main activities of the laboratory are: provides instruction and research in casting and solidification processing of metals and alloys.

Wood Workshop
In this workshop, wooden prototypes are made based on: laser cutters, saws of all kinds, drills and bench brushes.
Welding Workshop
In this laboratory, welding practices of all kinds are carried out: stick, tig and mig.
Second Floor: Department of Structural Mechanics
Metallography Laboratory
Metallography involves the preparation and examination of specimens for their microscopic structure which determines their physical properties. The main activities of the laboratory are: quality control, failure analysis and study and analysis of corrosion of metals and alloys.
Assembly Area
This area, as its name suggests, is designed to perform light assembly work, which includes simple hand tools. This space is also used to teach metrology classes and the assembly of the boxes with the pieces that are made in cast aluminum.
Prototyping Laboratory
In this laboratory, prototypes of all kinds are made in 3D printing, with different plastic materials.
Third Floor: Department of Space Organization
En el tercer piso, se ubica el Centro de Diseño, Modelado y SIG, Taller de Dibujo 1 y 2, todos pertenecientes al Departamento de Organización del Espacio.
